Alphabet List

This is a collaborative project to compile alphabets for the languages of Pakistan that might be of use to linguists in their academic research and thereby increase awareness of the languages of Pakistan. At this stage it is very much a work-in-progress and although contributors attempt to be as accurate as possible in recording their data, there is no guarantee that erroneous entries have not crept in or that the data are entirely consistent at this point. We trust that they will become more accurate over time and eventually also reflect the differences between the alphabets of each language.

Select the languages you would like to view from the list below and press the "Go" button. To display languages which use the Urdu script correctly you should install the Scheherazade font. For Sindhi install the Lateef font. For IPA install the SIL Doulos font.
